CURRENT ACTIVITIES
Kawendoz Family Group is currently servicing a six years bank loan used to secure a prime Five acre piece of land within Kitengela location,Kajiado East Sub County. The project dubbed “project 34″ owing to the initial number of members during the inception of the project is meant to settle our members.
Each member will be entitled to an eighth an acre of land and two plots measuring a quarter an acre have been set aside as public utilities plots.
A dispensary and water borehole has been proposed. The project is under the subcommittee that reports to the group executive office proposed projects.
(I) The group is aiming to achieve a mega real estate project in the next five years funded through
members’ contributions and bank funding. A think tank committee is moving in earnest to identify
and compile a report on the transformation project.
(ii) Digital visibility Members have expressed interest to upgrade the group fully digitized group has a target to fully digitize all monies collection (contributions and social events).The company is in advance stage to acquire members bio metric identification machine and increase the group online visibility.
(iii) Business exposure. The group investment committee is moving in earnest in planning an overseas business exposure trip considering 90 percent of our members are business people in different cadres and sectors.
GROUP CSR.
For the last ten years, the group has set aside an annual day to visit the less privileged in the society. The group has been able to visit orphanages, aged and sick and distribute food and clothes aid to the needy in the society. Also, the group has been foremost in promoting formal education to bright learners within Kajiado East Sub County.
