BACK GROUND
Kawendoz Family Group came to be in 2011 when several friends were attending a wedding ceremony associated with one of them relatives in Nyeri County. The trip was marred by road’s mishaps but the friends’ resilience, determination and unity saw them through.
The strong bond later snowballed into a formidable informal group meant for members’ social welfare.In 2012,the group was registered as a Self-help group based in Isinya district, Kajiado County before it metamorphosed into an investment group in 2014. Its a dual face group operating as a company and a Self help group respectively.
