Kawendoz Family Group came to be in 2011 when several friends were attending a wedding ceremony  associated  with one of them relatives  in Nyeri County. The trip was marred by road’s mishaps but the friends’ resilience, determination and unity saw them through.

The strong bond  later snowballed  into a formidable  informal group meant for members’ social welfare.In 2012,the group was registered as a Self-help group based in Isinya district, Kajiado County before it metamorphosed into an investment group  in 2014. Its a dual face group operating as a company and a Self help group respectively.

Kawendoz Family Group is currently a registered entity under the Registrar of Companies under CPR/2014/133407 with its operations base in Kitengela town, Kajiado East Sub County.

The group boasts of 34 male members aged between 30-70 years united by a single purpose to empower themselves economically and make the society better through a transformation agenda. Since its inception the Group has been a beacon of hope to the members offering both economic and social capital
